Momma Love

Can’t keep waiting until I am perfect to start this blog. Figured now is as good a time as any. Love and insights are for sharing, especially insights about love. I have a lot of both, so says me. My wish is that you feel it, that whatever I have to share inspires you, touches you, moves you to open your heart ever more, to expand your embrace all the more to breathe more deeply to live more fully. That is my experience of life as that is my mission, my mantra: ever opening, connecting to, living and sharing my deepest heart’s truth and calling so that I may be of greatest service to all beings.

This isn’t always easy, sometimes it’s ecstatically elating and other times excruciatingly agonizing. I am learning to embrace both and every thing in between. Trusting, surrendering to what is. Last week I experienced a depth and fullness of love, beauty and bliss that I had only imagined was possible and 2 days later was in the deepest coldest darkest personal hell that I had not even dared to imagine was possible. And here I am alive and mostly well in the home of my mom, enjoying the fruits of her labour – literally (fresh organic apples off the tree, fresh carrots, peas, potatoes, asparagus, fennel, dill, basil, lettuce, nasturtiums, tomatoes, chard, cucumbers, zucchini, spinach, beets, beet greens, raspberries, cherries, flowers…pure love in the form of nourishment – for both body and soul!). Thank god for momma love. I am grateful and blessed to have the mom that I have. She has raised me well and given me pure unconditional love and support to be who I am. I honour and sing the praises of my mom – for without her I would not be. Her love nourishes and sustains me. Yippee doo for Momma Love!

I realized it is important to not take momma love for granted. It is essential to express love and gratitude to momma for her love, for being who she is, for giving me life. I recommend that if you haven’t done so lately let your mom know you love and appreciate her in whatever way you can.
