Performers, dancers, partyers, flaunters, artists, players, revelers, celebrators, spectators, freeks of all ages, shapes and sizes… it’s time to get freeky in the Creek. May 1, 2010 marks the first annual Freekers Ball at Roberts Creek Hall! This event, created in the spirit of creative self expression and celebration, is an opportunity for individuals to gather together to perform, play and display their unique beauty and talents.
Dedicated to the memory of a dear friend, Howler, who embodied the essence of free expression, foolery and play, the proceeds will go towards the Howler Memorial Scholarship which will fund individuals to study Creative Expressive Arts so that they may live their dream of being an artist and give their gifts more fully to the world.
The evening will begin at 7:00pm with an Opening Ceremony and then a Vaudeville style talent show followed by an incredible line up of live performances and dj’s from both near and far. Closing Ceremony at 2am. Prizes will be given for the freekiest costumes and performances. Tickets are $20 in advance, available at Windsong, MELOmania, or online at www.freekersball.com. $25 at the door. Kids 12 and under FREE!
